Hello hello droogies! Alison here and I've created a separate blog for my adventures in the UK. As you may know I'm going to university in the UK at the International Study Center at the Herstmonceux Castle for first year! This blog is meant to chronicle my adventures, thoughts, and experiences that come throughout the year. I've never been too great at updating blogs and writing in journals but I need to kick my butt into gear and keep up this blog so that I won't forget what I've done and so that others can read up on my life over there! Leave comments! Push me to keep updating! Let's keep in touch!
Yesterday I went and bought some microwaveable rice. I'm going to miss Asian food so much, I've been trying to eat as much of it as I can over here! Vietamese at Thai Son (#44 please!!!), Japanese at Aki, and homecooked Chinese food at home. Nine months till I can taste mom's cooking, it will be sorely missed.
And now it's two days till I leave and I've about completely packed. I'm quite proud of myself! My clothes all fit into one suitcase and there's still even room left to put more stuff in it! At first, I was a bit worried that I wouldn't have enough space... but I guess two check-ins that weigh up to 50lbs leaves quite a lot of room for clothes, microwaveable rice, and shoes. Oh my goodness, two more days... am I ready?
